Course objectives
Our strum and sing guitar gives you the added advantage you need to handle any musical situation with confidence. This course allows youths with a genuine interest in music to pursue their passion and future develop their talents, at the same time make new friends, it also aims to promote music playing as a leisure activity. Now functions and outings will be more exciting and fun. With the guidance of our professional guitar instructor, students will be able to reach their fullest potential. Participants can join in our weekly get-together practice sessions as well!
Course syllabus (basic level)
- Introduction of different guitars
- DIY/Posture
- Basic music theory
- Pick and tuning of guitars
- Basic playing techniques
- Score interpretation and reading
- Scale playing
- Introduction to tempo, dynamics and feel
- Basic chords
- Presentation and analysis of songs
- Stage/performance exposure
